Terms & Conditions

​

The following provides a general overview of working terms. Full terms, licensing, and usage rights are provided in the Client Contract issued at booking and take precedence over this summary.

BOOKING & SCHEDULING

  • Projects are scheduled into a specific booking week.

  • A contract is supplied to finalise a booking with no 50% retainer required until the 1st of the booking month.

  • Work begins once the design brief is completed and a 50% non-refundable retainer is paid.

  • Office hours are Monday–Thursday, 9am–6pm (UK time).

  • Clients must remain reasonably available for feedback during their booking window to avoid delays.

PRICES & PACKAGES​

DESIGN PROCESS

  • Turnaround times vary by project and depend on client response times, but usually within the Client's booking week.

  • Packages include a set number of revisions; additional revisions, concepts, or major changes may incur extra fees.

  • Rush services may be available subject to availability and additional charges.

  • Final files are delivered after approval and full payment.

PAYMENT

  • All prices are in GBP (£).

  • A 50% non-refundable retainer is requested at the start of Client's booking month.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before final files and usage rights are released.

  • Late payments may incur statutory interest where applicable.

CANCELLATIONS & DELAYS

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Retainers are non-refundable.

  • Fees may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the booking date or how much work has been completed.

LICENSING & USAGE

  • Clients receive exclusive, but non-transferable usage rights only; copyright and ownership remain with the Designer.

  • Artwork may not be altered, resold, transferred, or used outside the agreed purpose without written permission.

  • Layered or working files are not supplied unless separately licensed.

  • Full licensing terms are detailed in the Client Contract.

AI POLICY

  • The Designer does not use generative AI in the design process or within their business setup.

  • Clients may not use AI tools to train  modify, replicate, or redistribute any supplied artwork.

ATTRIBUTION

  • Credit to the Designer is required on published works and promotional material unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate information, respond to communications, and ensure they hold rights to any materials they supply.

LIABILITY & LEGAL

  • The Designer is not liable for indirect losses, printing errors outside their control, or issues arising from client-supplied materials.

  • Work is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

​

IMPORTANT

By booking or purchasing a premade cover, clients agree to sign and be bound by a full Service Agreement and Licensing Contract, which contains the complete terms, detailed licensing conditions, and legal protections for both parties.
