Each package includes standard market research, stock image search, image treatment,

moveable background (if applicable), or any basic level editing required.

Manipulation fees only apply if more extensive editing is required.

 

 This could be for multiple things.

For example, the manipulation of multiple images to create an unique multi-layered object cover,

or to personalise a stock model to make them different to what is already used within the market.

MANIPULATION FEES are new for 2023 and generally set out to make prices fairer between jobs and the level of editing

and work needed to create an author's overall vision.

Manipulation fees can be discussed at any point of the booking process, and can be paid for before final files are sent if you're unsure how much manipulation

is needed to create a unique and personal design you love when filling out a design brief.

For series, you will be asked to pay a manipulation fee per cover where applicable,

but any book covers following on from the initial design will be chargeable under ‘Manipulation Fee #1’.

This is to cover the time aspect of the design, but the Client is responsible for any additional stock images needed

required outside of those supplied by the Designer.

For example:

• Book one: will cost £60 (Manipulation Fee #2)

• Book two and any books afterwards: will cost £30 (Manipulation Fee #1)

• Additional payment: Stock imagery (£5 each) where applicable

If you are continuing on a pre-made design that is object based, please note you are required to pay MANIPULATION FEE #1 for any designs that follow.

It is the Client's discretion to read and understand this addition in regards to their personal needs when booking in with The Pretty Little Design Co.
