It has recently come to my attention that the illustrator I’ve previously contracted to create illustrated artwork for authors has been found to be a copy artist. As a result, I have made the decision to formally end our working relationship.

To be very clear, I do not condone the illegal use of IP
and this type of practice doesn’t represent my own values as a creative.

I’m deeply saddened by this situation and I fully recognise the disappointment
and frustration this has caused, and for that, I sincerely apologise.

For the sake of transparency, I wanted to note that this illustrator operated as an independent business, entirely separate from my own. My role was solely to facilitate bookings and offer what I believed would be a fun, creative service for authors to explore. At no point was I aware of any unethical practices, and any involvement on my part was unintentional.

Moving forward, I remain committed to continue and offer services with transparency, integrity, and respect for original creativity.

If any authors want to discuss next step, know my emails are always open to help.
Kirsty
